But I can't afford food supplements...

I hear this all the time, so I dug through my files and found this from 1996. I wonder what the stats are for 2009???

We spend...
$12,146,000 on potato chips
$506,000,000 on toys
$6,760,000 on cat food
$9,975,000 on dog food [dogs must eat twice as much]
$35,000,000 on Halloween candy for ONE NIGHT

and...

115,000,000 M&M's are sold [not sure if they are small bags]
19,000,000 people eat at McDonalds
28,315,000 hot dogs are eaten
611,000,000 servings of Coca-Cola are consumed

But ONLY $4,315,000 is spent on vitamins!

[from "Food Supplements No Longer an Option" by Dr. Bruce Miller]

Surely somewhere in our spending there is room for Shaklee Vitalizer.
Healthier living for about $2.90 a day.

  1. I've never understood the huge diet soda compulsion that Americans have. I've never been a regular or diet soda (pop) fan, and I think that's why my teeth are strong and healthy.

  2. I think the compulsion is for the sugar inside the drink. And that is also what destroys the teeth and the rest of the body.
